Role beats popularity. Runs, wickets, catches, and multipliers can all move rank. Check the scoring path before you lock captain.
Scoring map
| Action | Why it matters |

| Runs and wickets | The base score. Involvement across the innings beats a cameo. |
| Catches / stumpings | Keepers and close fielders can add points in a tight match. |
| Captain / VC | Multipliers. A wrong C can erase several good picks. |
| Economy / strike rate | Some formats deduct for a poor rate. Read the in-app scoring before you lock. |
IPL window
The scoring actions are the same. IPL compresses the window: death overs, fielding, and a late XI change move rank in less time. A captain who bowls two overs and bats at eight is the usual leak. Read the live points after the match before you copy that XI.
